The Olney Education Foundation appreciates all of the donations we receive, regardless of size or frequency. With education as our focus, we use all of the donations we receive to further our goals of promoting better education throughout the city of Olney. Our board members are unpaid and all of the work done by our organization is made possible through donations of time, money and resources.

WAYS TO GIVE

General Donation

Make a secure, unrestricted general donation to the Olney Education Foundation.

Memorials

Donations can be made “in memory of” a deceased family member, friend, co-worker or former educator. Memorials are listed on the Foundation’s web site, and an acknowledgment will be mailed to the individual(s) you request.

Honorary Gifts

Your gift to the Olney Education Foundation can be made “in honor of” a family member, friend, co-worker, school administrator, former teacher, etc. You can also make a current teacher a STAR by clicking on the tab “For Teachers.” “In honor of” gifts are noted on the Foundation’s website. Beneficiaries will receive an acknowledgment that a gift was made to the Foundation in their honor.

Estate Planning

Bequest: A way to leave Olney Education Foundation a financial gift after your passing.

Benefits: Exemptions from federal estate tax and finances will be controlled by your wishes. If you would like to make a lasting impact, simply place the following language in your will:

I, (your name), of (city, state, zip) give, devise and bequeath to the Olney Education Foundation, tax ID # 75-2817894, 809 W. Hamilton, Olney, TX 76374 (written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property), for its unrestricted use and purpose.
